Lynn began his insurance career in 1973 with Allstate Insurance Company and joined Life Underwriting in 1980. Over the years he has worked for Kemper, United of Omaha, Zurich Life, Bank One Life, and Chase Life. Currently he is a Chief Underwriter with ING US. He attained his FALU in 1984 and has authored several chapters for ALU examination texts.

A graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Economics, he served 2 years in the US Army, and is the father of 2 grown children. He’s a life master bridge player, and enjoys fishing and golf.

Lynn is known throughout the underwriting community as an expert and an active industry speaker especially on fraud topics, presenting fraud education to underwriter groups, association meetings, and reinsurers. In 2010 he completed a professional examination program to become a Certified Fraud Examiner.

He served on the MIB Board of Directors from 2002-2005 and in 2008 was the President of the AHOU.
